Day 1:
Welcome to Johannesburg!
Spend the afternoon at rest, relax, chill out and get a good nights rest before the action begins tomorrow.

Day 2:
Afternoon Game Drive
Pick up from accommodation and travel by coach via farmlands and stunning scenery to Hazyview on the doorstep of Kruger National Park. Stop off for lunch and to stretch the legs along the way.
After check-in, get excited as you embark on a sunset wildlife game drive. Your guide has eyes like a hawk but as the night falls, will use spotlights to find nocturnal species.
Enjoy a traditional African braai dinner meal tonight.

Day 3:
Full Day In Famous Kruger National Park
Breakfast is packed up to go this morning, as you rise with the sun for an early morning game drive. Animals rest in the hottest part of the day and so will you with a relaxed lunch at one of the restaurants within the park.
As the afternoon cools, the animals become active again and so do we as we head out on the afternoon game drive! Be on the lookout for zebra, elephants, giraffe, lions and the elusive leopard or cheetah.

Day 4:
The Panorama Route – Blyde River Canyon
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing Hazyview and be guided along the breathtaking Panorama Route on a group tour to visit Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon.
This is the 3rd largest Canyon in the world and you will have time to explore and take photos from various viewing points. Enjoy lunch along the way before returning to your accommodation arriving late afternoon.

Day 5:
Safari Game Drive Kruger National Park
Rise early and head off with a packed breakfast for our last game drive in Kruger National Park. This is the last opportunity to catch sight of the elusive wildlife you’ve yet to see before we make our way back to Johannesburg with a swag full of incredible memories and stories to share.

Day 6:
Khama Rhino Sanctuary + Sunset Game Drive
On the road early this morning as we travel towards the Botswana border. After border formalities, your Botswana guide will meet you and guide you on your journey through Botswana.
Once across the border, you will have the opportunity to exchange currencies. Then we road trip north to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary centre on Serwe Pan, a large grass-covered depression with several natural water holes. The Serwe Pan is home to 30 white rhino, 230 bird species and 30 other species of animals and is home to the endangered Black Rhino.
This is a community-based wildlife project that endeavours to protect the endangered rhinos as well as other species. The project also supports the local community through tourism and sustainable land use. The camp is set beautifully under large Manketti trees and is superbly maintained.
On your afternoon sunset game drive, we expect to see an array of animals and bird species, topped with another magical African sunset.

Day 7:
Sunset River Safari in Chobe National Park
Today is a big travel day (700 km) north through the Kasane forest where you will see rare antelope, wild dogs, hyena, large herds of elephants and lions. Arrival in Kasane around mid-afternoon where you’ll check in at the lodge. You will have time to chill out before a late afternoon sunset river safari that will take you into Chobe National Park, super rich in wildlife.

Day 8:
Chobe Game Drive + Zambezi Sunset Cruise
A last early morning game drive before we make our way to the Zimbabwe border post and pass back through the Kasane forest on our way to the vibrant town of Victoria Falls where we will be spending the next two nights. The accommodation is situated in the middle of town, within 10 minutes walking distance of just about everything.
Late afternoon sit back and relax as you enjoy a memorable sunset cruise on the beautiful Zambezi River where you have the opportunity to see animals coming down to the river for a drink. We often see elephants, zebra, blue wildebeest, rhino, buffalo and a variety of antelope species. Hippo, crocodile, and birdlife are abundant in this region. All soft drinks, wine, beer and some snacks are included in the river cruise.

Day 9:
Victoria Falls & Traditional Boma Dinner
After breakfast, we will visit the spectacular Victoria Falls (entry fee at own expense). Your guide will show you the best vantage points and be sure to throw in your spray jacket – you’ll need it!
After your tour of Victoria Falls, you have time to explore on your own. You’re in one of the worlds adventure capitals and have a great variety of things to see and do. Meet the locals, visit the markets with a wide variety of very affordable arts and crafts made from wood, stone, and beads. Or you could simply relax by the pool and chill out in the heat of the day.
In the evening get ready for a taste sensation as you enjoy a traditional Boma dinner. Expect a night of fun, dance and the opportunity to try some local delicacies!

Day 10:
Elephant Sands Botswana – A Truly Unique Experience!
We leave the Vic Falls behind and make our way 320km over the border and back into Botswana. We head south towards Nata and the Elephant Sands Rest Camp.
This place is amazing and it’s not unusual to view the elephants at the natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of metres away from you, a truly unique experience! There is plenty of other wildlife around as well on the unfenced 16,000 ha private conservancy. The lack of fences allows all animals to roam freely so expect nothing short of a spectacular experience.

Day 11:
Overnight close to the Botswana/South Africa Border
After breakfast, we depart and make our way to a location close to the South African border. Nata to South Africa Border (Martins Drift) is approx 450 km. We will spend the last night of our tour in a lodge camp and enjoy our last dinner together.

Day 12:
Johannesburg, South Africa
After breakfast, we make our way back to the place where it all began – Johannesburg. Spend the afternoon and evening at rest, catch up on that book you thought you’d read on holidays or mingle with fellow travellers at the bar.

Day 13:
Visit Soweto with a Local
A half day tour in Soweto with your local guide who will take you past all the hotspots in Soweto and will take you deep into the township culture, so you can enjoy a personal experience of how vibrant and lively this part of Johannesburg really is.
In Orlando West we visit Vilakazi Street- drive past the former home of Nelson Mandela (optional museum visit at own expense) and past the home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. You will have an opportunity to hear about the Soweto uprising on 16 June 1976 that kick-started the liberation of South Africa. Continue our Soweto tour driving into one of the shanty towns where you get to interact with some of the locals.
Return to your accommodation around 2 pm to pick up luggage and transfer to the airport with ample time for departure.
